Much like any engineering pass out who did not like it, I too was struggling among UPSC, engineering job, family business Vs my passions and aspirations which in this chaos I was still unable to articulate. Recalling my first meeting with SN after starting my mentorship which itself was a hard task to get my family around, he broke down the chaos into simple points which we were going to use as a part of our action plan. Over multiple sessions, the biggest factor, I realised was that we had a holistic view of our actions and how they affected the different verticals of my life, a passion for travelling he even recommended me the Royal Enfield Astral Ride which was a complete blessing. So thankful to him that I did my first solo trip to Ladakh doing 800 kms and capturing the Milkyway in my camera. He encouraged me to start writing, which is a quality I was unaware of but he saw, the guidance on the writing front worked wonders, helped me build connections and paved the way for opportunities to find their way to me. Today I write for some of the most medium publications on crypto and DeFi. Next, a very major step was building the interface for those opportunities, which he helped me line by line to articulate the CV, about which I recently got complimented as well. He taught we are not planning for what has happened or is happening but for how a possible future is going to look like, this needs risk management so that I balanced all aspects of how and what I want, that farsightedness is something I realised at later stages by trying out various tasks & opportunities SN presented. Right now at the time of writing this testimonial, I am finally about the write-down action plans for the next 6 months, am working with a crypto start-up as I wanted, in the profile I wanted to work, doing courses to add skills and further planning higher education as per the needs of the space I am working in.
